Meet Thiago!

Thiago's story begins in Puerto Rico, where his former owner brought him to the vet to be euthanized simply because they no longer wanted him. He was underweight, matted, and neglected. Thankfully, the vet saw the spark in Thiago and refused to put him down—instead, they reached out to our rescue team.

Our rescuers stepped in and gave Thiago a second chance. He’s now vaccinated, neutered, healthy, happy, and ready for a loving home. Thiago is a 2-year-old, 20 lb Shih Tzu mix (no DNA test just a hunch). He’s playful, sweet, and gets along well with other dogs/puppies and people.
